The lost Vikings

When people think about blizzard the first thing that comes to mind are the 3 franchises StarCraft, diablo and war craft however those are not the only games made by blizzard, there is another one known as the lost Vikings. This game and its following sequel has been around since 1992 and was one of the original classics, released at the dawn of blizzard his existence and around for 21 years one may wonder what happened to this franchise if you can even call it a franchise in general since there is very little to compare to when looking at the other 3 games. Still as all games made by them this to was a fun game to play.

Now since I’m technical talking birthday greetings in a way I believe birthday greetings is a custom that is pretty similar to celebrating each year when something special happened or was created and therefor I believe certain games deserve a birthday greeting as it were.

Both the first and secund game where not released for the PC unlike most games made by blizzard up to this day but in fact for the super Nintendo and later Sega and was later re-released for the game boy advance in 2003. Back then the company was still S&S, blizzard did not exist at the time yet. the secund game was also released for the PS1.

The second game was released in the typical tradition of the company only after several years in 1997 by then the company was renamed and blizzard was already born, since then Lost Vikings have not returned for another run and one may wonder if they ever will be, still they deserve recognition and birthday greetings as a reminder they were one of the first . maybe we will see them again in the future but I have my doubts, still it would be nice to see the comical Vikings again after so many years.
